About Sinéad
Sinéad Elliott is an interior architect and the founder of S.Elliott Studio, a Dublin-based practice dedicated to human-centred, sustainable, and inclusive design.
With a background spanning interior architecture, community-focused projects, and art education, Sinéad brings a thoughtful, research-informed approach to every project, from residential and workplace interiors to creative collaborations with design studios and fit-out teams.
Across every project, Sinéad begins by understanding how people will live, move and interact within a space. This people-first approach underpins every design decision, balancing thoughtful planning with creative problem-solving to create interiors that are intuitive, adaptable and built around the people who use them.
From initial concept sketches and spatial planning through to Revit modelling, technical drawings and FF&E specification, she combines creativity with technical precision to develop interiors that are practical, enduring and carefully considered. Every project is shaped by a thoughtful approach to materials, natural elements and evidence-informed design principles, creating spaces that promote comfort, well-being and meaningful connection.
Sinéad believes that successful interiors do more than look beautiful; they should improve how people experience and use a space every day. Every design decision is guided by how a space will function today, adapt over time and support the people who use it. Her work is characterised by practical planning, warm and timeless material palettes, and a calm, understated aesthetic, resulting in environments that are functional, adaptable and made to last.
She holds a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture from Griffith College Dublin and received a Commendation for Universal Design at the IDI Graduate Awards in recognition of her work exploring inclusive community environments.
